GovernIT Consulting Inc. (“GovernIT”, “we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website located at governit.ca (the “Site”) and our contact channels.
This Policy is intended to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) (PIPEDA) and the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) (PIPA).

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site and when you contact us. It does not cover information collected in the course of providing paid consulting services under a separate contract, which will be governed by that contract.

Information you choose to provide - Contact details (name, email address, phone number, organization, role/title). - Message content and any files or details you include when you submit a form or contact us.
Standard technical information (collected automatically by the Site or our service providers) - IP address and general location inferred from it. - Device, browser, and operating system details. - Site usage data such as pages viewed, timestamps, referring/exit pages, and clickstream. - Cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate and secure the Site, and (if enabled) basic analytics.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information through the Site.
